I had a good, but insanely busy weekend :) no time to really rest, work on my portfolio OR play Sims...bah. I need more hours in the day!!!!!
Friday night after work, Kris and I went to the Prom - Not just any prom: It was the "Awesome 80s" Prom http://www.awesome80sprom.com/ it was pretty fun, i have to admit - hell, way better then mine, IN the 80s.. so there. Lots of drama with cheerleaders, football players, a queen, a couple of nerdy kids, and of course, the preppy prom committee :)
Ask ReyBee A.K.A. "Jimmy One-Nut" about his "football injury".
That was just as funny as Bryan getting assaulted by a bunch of the charaters who just wanted to dance with him... next time, don't wear the "atari" shirt... i think thats what attracted them to you!
Saturday was non stop - up, ate and then just started cleaning! i think we started at like 11am and wrapped up by 3 or 4pm ... we got a lot done tho! afterward, Amy came over and we had pizza and got ready for the the trip:
Headless Horseman Hayride and Haunted House! - Ulster Park NY
http://www.headlesshorseman.com
It took about 2 hours to get there, but it was worth it - i know now why this is voted the best haunted house/hayride experience. I was amazed at the lengths they go to, between the elaborate set ups/ great actors and decorations to the grounds themselves... wow! is all i have say!
There was a great 20 min hayride, a scary ass corn maze, two haunted houses, cool displays all over the grounds, an illusionist, two little cafes, and shops! One of the actors even asked Nigel to work there - gave him an application and everthing!! Its so "HIM" ! He should so work there next year :) That would rock.
Sunday, was spent doing two weeks' worth of laundry and making meatballs with my mom - i needed to get her secret recipe! tiring.. yes very... i'm paying the price now, achey, tired and illin... on my second cup of coffee... still not truly awake -
