im so sad about this - if anyone has any photos or wants to share memories please feel free to post them here. The first memory that came to me was how we all gathered there after Tim died in 1993. That place was special to him and they even donated some of his clothes to decorate the bar areas. Aldos' opened up espeically for people to talk about Tim and listen to his music - To me hearing this news about Aldos burning down was like hearing that Tim died all over again. I met all my friends and boyfriend there, new years parties, Brand New Idols' first show was at Aldos, Duran Duran nites, Depeche Mode nites, had my bachelorette party there, had numberous birthday parties there, had my "yay i'm divorced" party there, had my first fist fight with a guy there, got drunk, had drama, etc.. good times all around. I didn't realise how big a part of my life this place was til i heard it was gone. I even had a dream just last night that a club burned down and i watched it so clearly. One friend said to me after i told them about this freaky dream that "I guess it was such a part of you that you just "knew" something happened". Special thanks to Ted. You did a great job there for the last 20 years. Thanks for 12 great years of memories. I'm definately going to miss it. xo
